On December 5, the October tire production data of Shandong Province is released. Tire production in the province declined sequentially.

 

According to Rubber Industry Association statistics, in October this year, Shandong Province's comprehensive tire production is 38,113,000 pcs, an increase of 4.50% than last year, 116.6 million less than September.

 

Among them, radial tire production was 31,299,000 pcs, an increase of 7.90% from the previous quarter and a decrease of 1,012,000 pcs from the previous month.

 

In September, Shandong's tire production showed a sequential decline than August, and the decline continues in October.

 

From January to October, Shandong tire cumulative production reached 391,222,600 pcs, an increase of 5.9%, accounting for 48.8% of the national tire production.

 

Among them, radial tire production data is 323,879,000 pcs, an increase of 6.8%, accounting for 55.2% of the national radial tire production.

 

From the national data, over the past 10 months, China's tire production increased 2.45% and radial tire production increased 2.06%.

 

Shandong tire production growth year on year, higher than the national standard. And cpmpared with tyre industry in other provinces, Shandong tire industry takes obvious advantages of scale. This size advantage, not only reflected in the size of a single business, but also reflected in the size of the regional industrial clusters.

 

The province initially formed a peninsula tire industry cluster mainly in Qingdao, Yantai and Weihai, and the North Region Tire Industry Cluster centered around Guangrao and Shouguang in Dongying. Radiation production capacity in both clusters accounted for 47% and 43% of Shandong Province, respectively.

 

Shandong Province Rubber Industry Association Zhang Hongmin said that at present, Shandong tire industry is in a period of deep adjustment. After the adjustment period, Shandong tire competitiveness will be further enhanced.
